Most aftermarket bumper and tire configurations larger than 33 inches will not work and Smittybilt's relocation bracket repositions the spare tire 1.5 inches upwards and 1.5 inches out, giving the additional clearance required. Constructed from 3/16-inch laser cut steel, the bracket is strong enough to support an oversize wheel and tire, yet weighs a mere 11 pounds.
The Smittybilt engineers utilized OE attachment points making installation a snap while retaining the OE brake light and camera functions without drilling or other modifications. (Please note: Swing gate reinforcement is recommended for 35 inch tires)
